About Jet
Choosing a celebrant is, at its heart, about finding someone you can trust with your story. I believe that every milestone—the joy of a marriage, the welcome of a new child, or the quiet reflection of a final farewell—is a significant chapter that deserves to be handled with profound respect and insight.
My approach is shaped by an 18-year career in counselling and mental health. In addition to my work as a celebrant, I manage the counselling service at my local hospice. This background allows me to offer a unique level of support, moving beyond the script to focus on the "human" side of every ceremony. I understand that life is beautifully complex; I am experienced in navigating the intricate dynamics of family life and recognise the deep emotional weight that rituals carry for us all.
I am committed to providing a space where every individual feels truly heard. To me, being an inclusive celebrant is about ensuring that every love story, every family structure, and every unique life path is honoured with warmth and dedication. Regardless of your background or identity, you will find in me a safe, steady, and non-judgmental partner.
When I am not helping families navigate life’s big moments, I find my own balance in the beauty of the outdoors. I am a firm believer in the restorative power of nature—whether it’s a long walk through the Yorkshire landscape or getting lost in a good book.
My passion for well-being also extends to my hobby as a Pilates teacher. Teaching movement allows me to help others find their centre and strength, a philosophy I bring into my celebrancy work: staying grounded, focused, and present for those who need me most.
It is a sincere privilege to be invited into your journey. Whether we are celebrating a beginning or honouring an end, my goal is to protect your peace and provide a service that is bespoke, beautiful, and—above all—deeply respectful of the people at the very heart of the story.
